Ruth McQueen presents a bouquet to Ruth Ridenour
in recognition of 50 continuous, active years in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class

Sunday 6 September 2009 was declared as Ruth Walkup Ridenour Day at the Loudon CPC Sunday School. Ruth was recognized for her completion of fifty (50) continuous, active years as a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. The Willing Workers Class surprised Ruth with a Sunday School Brunch, a bouquet of flowers, and a Sunday School Proclamation. Ruth also received a certificate and a letter from U.S. Rep. John Duncan, Jr. recognizing her for her faithful years of service to, not only her church, but also to her community. Attending the brunch was Ruth’s son Bernie Ray and her daughter Fancye and their families.
