The purpose of The Cumberland Presbyterian is to disseminate the news of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church to promote its faith, programs, and activities, and to provide fair and open discussion of theological and denominational issues.

Bicentennial Celebration : Burnt Prairie, IL CPC

The Burnt Prairie CP congregation invites all area congregations to meet with them on January 31st, at 5:00 to celebrate the 200th birthday of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A potluck supper will be held in the fellowship hall at 5:00. At 6:00, all will gather in the sanctuary for a time of sharing. Each congregation is encouraged to provide talent -- adult choirs, praise groups, solos, duets, readings, skits, etc. -- from children, youth and adults.
