The purpose of The Cumberland Presbyterian is to disseminate the news of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church to promote its faith, programs, and activities, and to provide fair and open discussion of theological and denominational issues.

Notice of death : Rev. Wayne Morgan

Rev. Wayne Morgan died Wednesday evening, May 26, 2010, at home with his family at his side. Rev. Morgan had served the Lewisburg for almost 30 years and was their present pastor. Other churches he served was Bethesda CPC in Friendship, TN and Maple Spring CPC in Beech Bluff, TN. During his time at Lewisburg he also served the Mt. Lebanon Church as needed.

His funeral was at the Lewisburg Church on Saturday, May 29, 2010. Licentiate Tommy Clark and Rev. Bill Rolman officiated.
