Prayer Request : June Smith and Janiece Fleming

From Rev. Albert Smith:

June had her knee surgery last Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was discharged on Friday to Walker Nursing Home to take therapy for 3 to 4 weeks. She is getting along better all the time.  Greeting and get well cards can be sent to  June Smith, Room 9, Walker Nursing Home, 530 East Beardstown Street, Virginia, Illinois 62691.

Janiece phoned me on Sunday evening. She had just come home from the hospital in Monticello, Arkansas. She had taken her pre-op on last Thursday, and they found her blood count at 7, and gave her two pints of blood. That did not bring the count up so she had to remain in the hospital and had two more pints of blood. That brought up her count to an acceptable level.

She sounded in good spirits. She said that her knee surgery is still scheduled for the 15th of June in Little Rock.
She definitely needs the prayers of everyone.  Cards can be sent to Janiece Fleming, P. O. Box 1392, Monticello, Arkansas 71655.

Thank you for your prayers and concerns.    God Bless You.  Albert Smith
